Chiquita Mountain:   D/R/E: 6 miles - 2,049' elevation gain
Hiking Distance Is The Total Length Of The Hike

This hike starts offo of Old Fall River Road. Parking is limited and thunderstorms are frequent, so start very early. You start in the forest and then climb some steep steps. From there you are pretty much out in the open skirting Mount Chapin until you get to the saddle between the 2 mountains. There is usualy snow there, even in summer. The hike Chiquita up is strenuous and long but worth it! You will probably be all alone with the Marmots on the top of Chiquita. It is a wonderful place to eat lunch and look around 360 degrees at all the peaks.
