Alberta Falls:   D/R/E: 1.6 miles - 220' elevation gain
Hiking Distance Is The Total Length Of The Hike

This easy hike to one of the park's most impressive waterfalls is one of the most popular short hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park for the entire family. In the first quarter mile, this trail crosses 4 bridges, making it exciting for children. The trail follows the creek up through Glacier Gorge where you can hear the crashing water from Alberta Falls. The trail goes through aspen, fir and spruce trees. Many of these aspen grew after a 1900 forest fire. Particularly with their brilliant shades of yellow, these aspen trees make this an extremely pleasant trail in the fall.
